Immersive Sound Director

Multi-gold-awarded artist Samy Deluxe and grammy-awarded producer/beat-maker Conductor Williams presented an electrifying set at Levi's Music Studio right at Millerntor stadium of FC St. Pauli. The session was full of features by upcoming (Milaa, Bria) and well-known artists like Afrob.

I was invited to speak at GCES 2026 which was happening at Kampnagel, Hamburg: "Back to Real Life? Wie physische Orte zwischen Digitalität, Inszenierung & Begegnung neu verhandelt werden"

Together with Marvin Bratke (Beta Realities) and Dara Sepehri (3STN), I discussed the future and significance of physical spaces in our increasingly digital world.

In January, Thees Uhlmann performed two sold-out sets at the world-renowned Elbphilharmonie. During the evening performance, I produced the exclusive broadcast mix and managed the technical delivery of the live stream.

To faithfully capture the unique character of the Grand Hall, I deployed additional room microphones to record the venue's natural sound. My goal was to translate the immersive atmosphere of the performance into a high-fidelity broadcast.

For any professional dedicated to immersive audio, Sonic Days is a revelation. My experience at the 2024 summit was great, making it an instant fixture in my calendar.

The event offered unparalleled access to industry giants, including four Grammy-nominated immersive producers: Justin Gray, Michael Romanowski, Morten Lindberg, and Hans-Martin Buff. Beyond the panels, I dived into the future of sound with visionary partners like Sound Particles and Neumann.

For the second Unterm Dach session at the Millerntor stadium of FC St. Pauli, platinum- and gold-awarded artist badchieff delivered an intimate yet electrifying performance from the Levi's Music Studio. Surrounded by a warm, living-room atmosphere right next to the pitch, the session captured his unmistakable energy and artistic depth in a truly special setting.

During the Reeperbahn Festival 2025 I mixed front of house for great artists such as VIA Award Winner 2025 Vandalisbin (see picture above). I was responsible for all evening shows at club Häkken.

We had 23 artists on stage in 4 days.

I couldn't have done it without Jannik Beßert (stage & monitor mix engineer, D&S Veranstaltungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG) and Sarah Lu Maggiore (stage management, OHA! Music GbR).

The wonderful team at ZiMMT in Leipzig, Germany, brought together this incredible group of experts. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with like-minded individuals who are breaking boundaries in their respective fields.
Talks covered subjects as spatial audio for live venues (Banu Sahin: 3D audio for live music, Felix Deufel: DJing in 3D audio), audio formats (Daniel Rudrich on Ambisonics) and interconnectivity (Mathieu Delquignies: ADM-OSC). In terms of production for 3D audio, I was impressed by the 4DSOUND technology and Poul Holleman's approach, which was clearly art-driven and spot on. I also found hauptmeier|recker's art to be very inspirational.

I planned and integrated additional audio equipment for the opening event and press conference of Port des Lumières in Hamburg, Germany.
